I'm a philosopher by training, and nature. A long detour through software engineering landed where I probably belonged the whole time: public policy, where the "what should we do?" questions I fell in love with as a philosopher actually cash out.

I currently study Public Policy at Portland State University. You can see how it’s going on my degree plan.

These days you'll find me in Portland raising three kids, playing Commander with a crew of local dads, and watching this goat eat the never-ending rope that is my Goodreads list. One must imagine Sisyphus happy, after all.

I care a lot about whether the world is fair, whether the people around me feel understood, and whether an idea we’ve all dismissed deserves another look. If any of that sounds like your kind of conversation — about cities, ethics, games, or the book you can't put down — reach out. I really want to connect.

I've never had a conversation I couldn't stretch an hour past its scheduled end.
